Art Camps for Creative Children

There are days when your kids are out of school that can seem to become magical family adventures. But sometimes, you find yourself needing additional opportunities for their stimulation and learning. For the highly-creative child and those with an artistic bent, we’d love to help you fill that void. Whether your child wants to explore new creative avenues on a teacher workday, a national holiday, or the long summer break has arrived, we offer a broad range of camps for most kids. Read on to learn the basics about what our camps are like. Then follow the links above and sign up for the sessions that suit your child the best!

What You Need to Know - Read Camp Details Below:

We’re excited to welcome your child to The Marshall Muse Gallery’s Kids’ Art Camps, where creativity, exploration, and fun come together! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all campers, please review the following important details:

Check-In & Forms

  • Parents/guardians must sign their child in on the first day of camp and confirm that emergency contact information is up to date.

  • Emergency contact and medical information forms must be completed at registration or downloaded online and brought on the first day.

What to Bring

  • Mess-friendly clothes — art is messy, and we embrace it!

  • A water bottle (must be leak-proof and closable) — please avoid sticky or colored drinks to prevent spills on artwork.

  • Lunch & snack (for morning session campers) — lunches should not require refrigeration or microwaving. We encourage healthy snacks for break time.

  • Sunscreen & weather-appropriate clothing — we will have outdoor playtime, so please apply sunscreen and send a jacket if needed.

Friday Celebration: Popsicles & Play!

  • Fridays are extra fun! We provide popsicles as a treat for all campers with extra play time.

  • Campers are encouraged to wear their tie-dye T-shirts (made during camp) for our end-of-week celebration.

  • Save time to come in and enjoy our mini Art Show with fun things the kids created that week. Then have them take you through the gallery to pick our your favorite pieces from local artists together.

Technology & Electronics Policy

No electronics (tablets, gaming devices, etc.) are allowed during camp. If your child brings a device, it must remain in their cubby for the duration of camp.

Behavior & Expectations

Our camps are designed to be fun, educational, and engaging in a respectful, positive environment. To ensure that all campers have a great experience:

  • This is an art-focused camp, and campers should have an age-appropriate attention span for the level they are signed up for.

  • We expect kindness, cooperation, and respect toward instructors, staff, and fellow campers.

  • If a child exhibits disruptive or inappropriate behavior, parents will be notified. If issues continue, parents may be required to pick their child up early.

Health & Illness Policy

We understand that kids sometimes get sick, but to keep everyone safe and healthy, please do not bring your child to camp if they are sick. This includes:

  • Fever within the past 24 hours

  • Vomiting, diarrhea, or flu-like symptoms

  • Severe cough, congestion, or any symptoms of contagious illness

  • If your child becomes ill during camp, we will contact you to pick them up as soon as possible.

Safety First!

The safety and well-being of our campers is our top priority. We maintain a safe and supervised environment with the following precautions:

  • Campers are never left unattended and are always supervised during both indoor and outdoor activities.

  • Emergency contacts will be notified immediately in case of any accidents, injuries, or illness.

  • Parents/guardians must provide any necessary medical information, including allergies or special health concerns, before the first day of camp.

We Can’t Wait to Create With You!

We appreciate your cooperation in making The Marshall Muse Gallery’s Kids’ Art Camps a safe, fun, and inspiring experience for all. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out — we’re here to help!
